The Slayers Club was launched on DOOM's 25th Anniversary. DOOM Slayers of all ages came together to celebrate one of entertainment's most iconic franchise.
Slayers Club was a player hub built to promote Bethesdas Year of Doom marketing campaign and support Doom Eternal after its launch. Registered players were able to take part in events, giveaways, polls, earn prizes, and increasing their Slayer Club Rank.
When Doom Eternal launched players received in game content based off their participation in the Slayers club.
A major game means major media. Bethesda continuously released trailers, documentaries, soundtracks, screenshots, and wallpapers for Doom Eternal. Members of the Slayers Club recieved points for consuming and sharing content.
Once a member of the Slayers Club players got to design their own avatars. A unique experience had to be built on mobile but it supported all the features of the desktop verion. Participating earn players more Slayers Club points.
Players could see every activity they earned Slayers Club points for. As points were awarded notifications kept players informed of their ranking progression.
